The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) hasn’t been honest with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) about Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) actions, so he’ll have to learn the truth sooner or later.
Finn feels like Liam is trying to undermine his marriage, but Steffy and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) have been putting the blame on Finn for getting too close to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).
Of course, Ridge and Steffy are right about how risky it is for Finn to give Sheila hope for a relationship.
Finn was just begging for trouble when he hugged Sheila back at the courthouse.
There’s also the matter of the mistake Finn made when he took his eyes off Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) at the beach.
Although Sheila deserves some credit for saving Kelly, her presence that day proved Finn’s embrace only intensified her desire to be around him.
However, we can acknowledge Finn’s blunder while still putting some blame on Liam.
It’s not fair for Steffy to act like Liam’s just being a protective father when he’s blatantly trying to get her back.
That’s especially true since Liam stole two kisses from Steffy long before the courthouse hug video was filmed.
Liam was already making moves on Steffy, so Finn’s correct in feeling like Liam’s been after Steffy since his marriage to Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) fell apart.
At the moment, Finn is determined to fight for his marriage and shut down Liam’s attempt to reunite with Steffy.
Will Finn change his mind after he gets updates on the multiple kisses that Steffy and Liam are hiding?
Liam will make another bold play for Steffy that could bring a third lip lock during the week of August 14-18, so this is becoming a real problem.
No matter how Finn finds out the shocking news, B&B spoilers say it could be a game-changer.
Finn may feel like Steffy’s been gaslighting him with all the downplaying and defending she was doing about Liam’s motives.
The fact that Steffy and Liam hid something together will also rub Finn the wrong way.
It’ll feel like Liam and Steffy had some kind of secrecy pact to bond over, so Finn won’t be happy about that.
It could make Finn wonder if he should be fighting so hard for his marriage.
Finn could easily shift his strategy and decide that Steffy simply has to make a decision about her future.
At some point, Finn may be willing to surrender if Steffy really wants to get back together with the world’s worst waffler.
That said, Finn might also remind Steffy that his strong love for her can’t be matched by someone as weak as Liam.
Perhaps Finn will warn that Liam will only let Steffy down again if she chooses him.
Bottom line, Finn deserves a chance to find out about those kisses and express some anger over them.
Steffy needs to take some responsibility for keeping those lip locks under wraps and pretending Liam’s intentions were pure.
