Nikkie Tutorials has recently opened up about her experience when she was on The Ellen Show. The legendary talk show host is under fire for numerous reasons and Nikkie Tutorial is doubling down on why Ellen may not be the person she portrays on TV
During her appearance on a Dutch talk show, Nikkie revealed that she didn’t get a friendly ‘hello’ from anyone — including Ellen. She also hinted that the comedienne was rude.
In a Dutch publication called &C, she is spilling the details of what happened the day she met her idol.
‘Call me naive, but I kind of expected to be welcomed with confetti cannons: ‘Welcome to The Ellen DeGeneres Show!’ But instead I was greeted by an angry intern who was a bit overworked. I was expecting a Disney show, but got Teletubbies after dark. I was not allowed to use the nearest toilet, because it was reserved for the Jonas Brothers. Why do they get a private toilet, I thought.’
Although she claims that she was overall happy with her experience, Tutorials revealed that she’s love to meet Adele but after this incident, she thinks the saying ‘never met your idols’ is true.
This comes as Ellen faces backlash for comparing her mansion to jail while under quarantine.
To make matters worse, a shocking report was released that her employees are slamming the bosses at the show for lack of pay and job security as Degeneres hosts her show from home.

Variety broke the news that her crew was ‘distressed and outraged over their treatment from top producers’ due to the fact that they ‘received no written communication about the status of their working hours, pay, or inquiries about their mental and physical health from producers for over a month.’
Many were blindsided by the Ellen at Home edition going on without letting others know about their job status. An entirely different crew was hired to help her with this new dynamic.
The outraged workers were finally told they should be ready for a 60% reduction in pay.
A rep for Warner Bros. Television released a statement that read: Our executive producers and Telepictures are committed to taking care of our staff and crew and have made decisions first and foremost with them in mind.
