Brother duo Cal in Red return with an upbeat ode to friendship in their new single “Replay (Lounge)”. The single alongside their new music video is the first taste from their upcoming second EP On The Dance Floor.

“Replay (Lounge)” is a synth pop masterpiece featuring candy coated synths and bright keys under sweet layered melodies. The breezy bedroom pop single features elements of synth pop and electronica for an intoxicating listen. The happy go lucky tune is “a tale of camaraderie that’s all dressed up to dance,” confides the duo. Detailing a strong bond and effortless friendship that was inspired by events during a stop on their tour in Lawrence, Kansas in 2020, “Replay (Lounge)” features a relatable narrative of love and dedication.

Cal in Red is a family affair with members Connor and Kendall Wright being brothers and the duo even naming their band after their little brother. The twosome began sharing music in 2019 and since then has released a series of singles and an EP entitled Cellular in 2021 to both critical and commercial acclaim. With festival stops in the new year as well as new music, we can’t wait to hear what is next from this rising alt pop band.
