Josiah and his wife Lauren, are expecting their first child together later this year. The happy couple used the family website to announce their happy news, which is the go-to way for the Duggar’s to reveal any family news.

We cannot begin to tell you how much we are looking forward to holding this baby in our arms this fall. Their statement is accompanied by a cute photo of Josiah kissing Lauren on the cheek, as they hold a sign that reads Rainbow After The Storm – Baby #2.
The reason the sign reads baby number 2 is that they sadly suffered a miscarriage last fall. Lauren and her husband opened up about their struggle in a heartfelt YouTube video, as well as featured on the most recent season of Counting On.
Josiah’s parents, Michell and Jim Bob, expressed their joy for their son and daughter-in-law, also on the website. They addressed the miscarriage, as they praised God for blessing the couple with a baby.
